ASCII drawing program?

Are there any drawing programs out there that let you draw animated movies in ASCII, and support standard movie features? * select & move a block of text - this would select either with a photoshop type marquee tool or let you outline an area of the screen (for irregular shapes) and select that * auto drawing of lines/shapes * support for differnt line widths * repeat frame feature (don't have to redraw a non-changing frame, just say show this frame x times in a row) * variable frames/second * preview movie or frame x to frame x * auto-strip trailing whitespace * inclues a couple of different players (javascript, windows, etc) * saves to format for use with these players (can also save to ansi, inserts esc-(home) between frames) etc. I wonder if anyone will ever get bored or interested in asciimation enough to build this...

'cos i get lost for ansi-anims try using AciD-Draw [][ see yuz [][ colin -- . /\_/\ ( () |_ | |\| _/ |? .\ |\| |) .\ |_ |_ :( a a( CJRandall http://www.shieldwolf.demon.co.uk ' \___") <<sPAMiSanUISANCE--=oOo=--tROLLSaREwORSE>>

Yes it should, but ansi-codes weren't designed for animations. -- Jan-Erik Finnberg whe...@icenet.no.spam.please.fi ICQ:49316651 Check out my FFVII web page at http://www.saunalahti.fi/~wheany/FFVII/ for "official" FF7 Midis, FF7 text viewer by CzarDragon, DCodelgp by ME and not much more!
