ASCII drawing program?

Are there any drawing programs out there that let you draw animated movies in ASCII, and support standard movie features? * select & move a block of text - this would select either with a photoshop type marquee tool or let you outline an area of the screen (for irregular shapes) and select that * auto drawing of lines/shapes * support for differnt line widths * repeat frame feature (don't have to redraw a non-changing frame, just say show this frame x times in a row) * variable frames/second * preview movie or frame x to frame x * auto-strip trailing whitespace * inclues a couple of different players (javascript, windows, etc) * saves to format for use with these players (can also save to ansi, inserts esc-(home) between frames) etc. I wonder if anyone will ever get bored or interested in asciimation enough to build this...
