Andreas Freise has an excellent collection of ASCII-art by many
different ASCII-artists including those who do ASCII-animations.

You'll see a link to Joan Stark's site there. She has been crowned the
Queen of ASCII-art, and rightly so; I think you'll have to agree after
visiting her site at
http://www.ascii-art.com

This particular newsgroup is merely a small branch of ASCII-art. Try
going to alt.ascii-art and you will see many more posts and many more
artists gathering there.
