[FAQ] How to Find ASCII

One can easily find ascii art on the net these days. For example, typing
"ascii figlet" and "ascii batman logo" in the Yahoo! search engine at
http://www.yahoo.com gives you plenty of hits, see the search results below.

Sigs are quite frequently requested here on alt.ascii-art, and an ascii
figlet generator does just that. It automatically generates a sig for
you (free of charge  :-))

For example:

* click the link "ASCII-Generator" in the search results
  for "ascii figlet"

* type your name in the box that appears on the web page,
  say, April Rose, and here is your sig, voila!
  You can choose from various fonts, etc, try it!

You can also search for ascii art in the alt.ascii-art archives in
http://www.dejanews.com or post a request here on alt.ascii-art.

But generally speaking, you will find what you need a lot faster, if you
search the entire net rather than a single newsgroup. Over and above
that, what you find may be closer to your liking, since what you have
looked at is what the entire world has to offer. Just use your favorite
search engine!
