By the way, this has nothing to do with what Joris said, but since it was
already headed "To Tweeter" I figured I'd put it here anyway.
Tweeter, I do not want to fight with you any more. I just got heated up
because of the fortune teller thing. I realize now that that was a mistake,
and one which started this argument with Colin. If we can sort of call a
truce, I would appreciate it.

I looked up in the Directories that came with Netscape (Four11 Directory, the InfoSpace Directory, and the WhoWhere Directory) the email address wasn't there. Diddling is fun. Diddling must stay! The diddling which was encouraged in the early days was mainly to give encouragement for newbies to make a start on picture making by some simple changes to a previous small picture of say a cat, dog, rabbit et al, before going on to doing whole pictures of their own. Nowadays diddles have to be assessed for the motive, content and overall purpose of any changes made. Modern diddles have purposes other than helping newbies get a start. They can range from intended enhancements and corrections to malicious and denigratory changes to make a point or express an opinion. So...nowadays...there are diddles and diddles...and some diddles are no longer readly acceptable. I have used your wonderful "nosee" drawing many times to make a point to someone who did not seem to be seeing things correctly. In hindsight I think I was not justified in diddling that picture's content and/or text to make those points. OK you do not and did not object but you could have objected and could quite rightly have done so. Actually that is what Casso does...he objects to anything he does not like being done to, or said about, his Steins which he has claimed are copyright and, anything else which appears that look even remotely like his Steins, including diddles, he claims become his copyright too. In the moderated newsgroup, rec.arts.ascii, posters could request the moderator not to allow reposting of a contributor's material and the moderator's decision on such a request would be final.
