Things like "Become a real detective in only 3 days with >our at home correspondance set." or "Safe self-defence:- 80,000V stun-gun >for only $39.95(us)" or even "Street Wise fighting:- can you hit a man 11 >times in a second or less, can you drop a man to his knees with only one >punch, can you win a fight in under three seconds." >Aaaahhhh. Only in America. Listen asshole, if you don't like America, land of the brave and the free, it can only mean one of four things: (1) you're a fucking Commie bastard; (2) you read Chung chou chinky jokes and actually laugh; (3) you take it up the ass every night; or (4) all of the above. Conclusion: I've decided, in my infinite wisdom, you're a #4. Therefore: Go stick your fat ass up for Chung-chou to stick his dick in, ya Commie-loving faggot!

That gentleman didn't voice a dislike of America, simply surprise at what he encountered in a magazine. We live in a bizarre and diversified country, and such things are probably quite new to him. He's entitled to post his opinion without being threatened, so back off. -->DSH

Quarky, baby! Lighten Up, son. These fine people from Down Under were making a simple comment on our fine country. You need to go home and get yer mommy to give you yer prozac. She shouldn't forget these things. : Conclusion: I've decided, in my infinite wisdom, you're a #4. Therefore: Don't you think conclusions are a little out of your reach, there? Brett, don't take our little friend here to serious. He just forgot to take his medicine, again. Enjoy your trip. And if you get through Colorado, give me a buzz.

Considering the original message was posted to pretty much all of the tasteless groups (as well as at least one alt.flame.* group), I'd say that the tasteless nonsense that you deleted was actually rather fitting. I'd agree that he's entitled to post his opinion, but as for being entitled to not having tasteless nonsense directed at him, he might want to pay more attention to WHERE he posts his opinion. Though I don't really think QUARK's response came as much of a surprise to him. TheoBromine "Wherever you go, mbo...@ucsd.edu there you are."

Listen asshole, if you don't like Faggots, lovers of the brave and the free, it can only mean one of four things: (1) you're a non-fucking boring bastard; (2) you read rec.humour because you thought it meant "rectal"; (3) you are anal retentive; or (4) all of the above. get a life.
