um... question: what font were you using? a fixed width font or some
proportional font?
(if you arent sure, look at the following lines... they should be the
same length if you are using a fixed width font)
iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii
wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww
also, it looks like you are using some non-ascii characters (which i can
apparently see but im sure some people cannot)
there are charts out there that list all ascii characters
in fact, theres one in the ascii-art faq (a copy of which is available
here: http://www.ascii-art.de/ascii/faq.html )
last, it looked like some of your art got word wrapped
if you have art thats wider than (some fixed amount which can be set in
your newsreader i think), then it might wrap
typically that set amount is around 70 characters, so for art wider than
that, you might want to test post it to something like alt.test to see
if it wrapped or not before posting it here
it looks like the artwork you did could be exceptionally pretty, and id
love to see more of it, but i just wanted to point out a few glitches
that make it harder for other people to view and enjoy your work
i do hope you post more though (:

The first one was in UTF-8 which kind of confused my newsreader, which expected ISO 8859-1; both of them were made with a variable width font, which didn't match my font. This kind of text art is still cool, but doesn't have the universal appeal of ascii art. If you stick to the ascii character set and use any fixed width font, everyone can view it.
