I wasn't looking for the last name and didn't notice. Is ther a "Frank"
anything in the credits? Perhaps he's a writer or some stage guy with
props or something.

BTW, not all PDs have that rule. I work for one, and they let the
people use what they've grown up using. In some instances, the full,
given name is required. But those are rare, usually dealing with court
cases where the officers have to attend as witnesses or something.
