Let's see.. one is a flute, one is a trumpet, one is a snare drum, I think.
A drum of some sort anyhow.

And I think the fourth one is cymbals.

Hmmm, not > quite the right one, and I guess, harassed isn't much better eiter.... You I know, and I did in the past. You'll receive a "friendly" message, that the corresponding account was closed - and new spam from new hotmail- accounts the same day... I gave up, hotmail (and other providers) seem to be unable to stop those spammers (usually, they're sending to lots of addresses, can't this be determined?) I got an gmx.net-account I'm using for news now, in the hope, GMX can filter lots of the spam (as they claim). Some addresses (like public.com) I'm just ignoring (I let GMX discard them :) Faroul -- Henning `Faroul' Peters - far...@gmx.net "Eine Phobie ist etwas irrationales - Kse hingegen _ist_ widerlich!" - Christian Schlittchen, <cor...@amber.hb.north.de>

Or if possible do as I have done... filter all messages from Spam addresses you

the past month! A great improvement!

Let me guess, most of your mails were from that DON'T READ THIS IF YOU'RE UNDER 21 one, or the ARE YOU BEING INVESTIGATED? one. The second one's been bothering me more than the first. ANd with the frequency to which I post, I finally had to resort to using a spamblocker in my address. I even CALLED the company with the ARE YOU BEING INVESTIGATED one. First day, I asked them to take my name off, they said they would. Second day (afte rI received another mail that AFTERNOON), I called back and threatened them with charges of harassment if they didn't cut it out. Of course, since I installed the spamblocker that day, I don't know if they tried to send me more or not. But when I tried to speak with a supervisor, I was refused. When I tried to get the woman's name, she hung up on me. As I said, I finally installed a spamblocker and that seems to do the trick. And it still allows people with at least a minimum of intelligence to figure out how to send me mail. Even without my signature, which I have also taken to putting in my mail lately. I knew how to do this a long time ago, just never got pissed off enough to do something. But I belong so certain support groups on line, and post to them a LOT, so I was receiving TONS of spam every day! I was gettin gat least two to three from each one of these idiots! If you know how to put a spam blocker in (changes depending upon your newsreader), do so. It makes life a LOT more worthwhile. I've already gotten used to using my killfile rather liberally... Cyd :) To reply to me, remove the REMOVE from my address. Any unsolicited email shall be treated as harassment and reported to the proper authorities. I charge $500 for every spam received, as a processing fee.
>|spammers (usually, they're sending to lots of addresses, can't this be >|determined?) What can't be determined is if they set up their own mailing lists. What they usually wind up doing (which cna't be determined by hotmail) is aliasing everyone they're spamming to to ONE localized address. Hotmail only detects and filters if it's more than 10 people it's sending to. So what they do is set up their own listserv of a sort, and mail everything to that one address. Then hotmail's own spamblockers won't detect it. Unfortunately. Cyd :) To reply to me, remove the REMOVE from my address. Any unsolicited email shall be treated as harassment and reported to the proper authorities. I charge $500 for every spam received, as a processing fee.
>Or if possible do as I have done... filter all messages from Spam addresses you >know of and ones that are to lots of people... I`ve only got one Spam message in >the past month! A great improvement! Marvin, Doesn't always work. The people who've been spamming me for months now change their address every time they post, and unless I'm willing to filter out all hotmail/juno addresses, I'm still going to receive them. If you have a way of changing your Reply-To and From sections of your posts, that works as a much more effective spamblocker, because it blocks anything that doesn't ahve a functioning brain. If it's a spambot it won't figure out what has to be removed. If it's a real person, then if you have your signature saying you'll prosecute if they evade the spamblocker, then you can turn around and sue the pants off of them for harassment (or at least scare the beejesus out of them when you threaten to). Cyd :) To reply to me, remove the REMOVE from my address. Any unsolicited email shall be treated as harassment and reported to the proper authorities. I charge $500 for every spam received, as a processing fee.
