Re: Need Snail Mail Privacy?

Re: Need Snail Mail Privacy?

Let me guess, most of your mails were from that DON'T READ THIS IF YOU'RE UNDER
21 one, or the ARE YOU BEING INVESTIGATED? one. The second one's been bothering
me more than the first. ANd with the frequency to which I post, I finally had
to resort to using a spamblocker in my address. I even CALLED the company
with the ARE YOU BEING INVESTIGATED one. First day, I asked them to take my
name off, they said they would. Second day (afte rI received another mail that
AFTERNOON), I called back and threatened them with charges of harassment if
they didn't cut it out. Of course, since I installed the spamblocker that day,
I don't know if they tried to send me more or not. But when I tried to speak
with a supervisor, I was refused. When I tried to get the woman's name, she
hung up on me. As I said, I finally installed a spamblocker and that seems to
do the trick. And it still allows people with at least a minimum of
intelligence to figure out how to send me mail. Even without my signature,
which I have also taken to putting in my mail lately. I knew how to do this
a long time ago, just never got pissed off enough to do something. But I belong
so certain support groups on line, and post to them a LOT, so I was receiving
TONS of spam every day! I was gettin gat least two to three from each one of
these idiots! If you know how to put a spam blocker in (changes depending upon
your newsreader), do so. It makes life a LOT more worthwhile. I've already
gotten used to using my killfile rather liberally...

shall be treated as harassment and reported to the proper authorities. I charge
