Both the title "ASCII for ever" and the "Frogstein, why are you still an ascii?" after the media changes convey the message that media changes don't change the ascii artform as such. The capping phrase "...get rid of those ascii glasses" can be interpreted both ways. That's OK then.
Referring to the motto in the cartoon, "Pete for President and Lover", I may
not be a good candidate for the Presidency, since even as an adult, I have no
clue on how to portray myself in public life ;-))
But I may be better as a lover, since old lovers keep coming back to me,
although I don't want them to ;-)))
