Ha ha! The cartoon backfires! Both the title "ASCII for ever" and the
"Frogstein, why are you still an ascii?" after the media changes convey the
message that media changes don't change the ascii artform as such.

The capping phrase "...get rid of those ascii glasses" can be interpreted both
ways. The interpretation most consistent with the rest of the cartoon is "get
rid of the notion that ascii can only live in one medium (whatever that is)"
and Frogstein then shows the other media in which ascii can live, which is
gif, etc  :-)))
