Warning of newsgroup attack

Hi - the alt.life.sucks gang has just decided to target one of my
favorite newsgroups - doubt that there is lot that can be done about
it, but all help will be appreciated.

I'm telling the regulars just to ignore the lamers, whether this will
do any good or not, we'll just have to see.

Just as a precaution I contacted our Sysadmin today, Tuesday, and he has 
now responded to say that it is in fact a troll posted to hundreds of 
other groups. 

His advice is for everyone in the group to ignore them and they will 
eventually go away.
