reading and saving ASCII art in this NG?

When I look at the posts here the ASCII art is all messed up and some lines appeared shifted back or over or continued on a different line. How can I read the messages here and save them correctly? I am using Free Agent newsreader. Zach

You're using a porportional font, you probably have HTML
enabled in your newsreader, and your column width or your
font size is set incorrectly. You didn't read the FAQ,
did you!

1. Turn off HTML in your newsreader.
2. Set your width to 79 columns.
3. Select a fixed-width (monospaced) font. The "Courier"
and "Lucida" font families are usually monospaced.
Make sure that you select a font -size- that's appropriate,
too (such as 14-point).

Uncheck Word wrap or set your line lenght ( directly across from word wrap) to your spec. 132 works well for a size 8 font with 17 inch screen. To set your font. Options, display preferences, font. My preferance is courier new size 8. You find 4 or 5 items that can be toyed with to acheive the desired results. For saving a picture, use notepad.
