this, man was cast away from God, and SIN (disobedience to God) became
a barrier that prevented man from coming close to the Holy God. No

and provided me the way to get back to God.
This is summarised by these words of the Bible : John chapter 3
verse 16 :

life."
Is there any reason for you not to accept for yourself what God has
done???

This may be a little off ascii-art, but oh well. Here's the way I see it.
A long time ago, people wrote down the Bible, right? Well, I imagine they
didn't understand alot of it, so they just wrote it in a way that made sense
to them. For example, they said that God created everything in 6 days. No
one really specified how long a day was back then. Maybe God created the
Big Bang and used evolution to create us. I think we can't really take the
Bible word for word, because we are different than the people who wrote it.
Also, have you ever read Revelation? That's pretty weird, and I imagine
that the author just wrote down things in a way that made the best sense to
him. If you witnessed something that was totally beyond all comprehension,
you would probably describe it by relating it to things that you know about
today.

I just got a response from RemarQ, which runs another archive-type usenet webpage.
RemarQ works a LOT faster than Dejanoose, and it usually picks up new posts, faster
than any other news server around.
Anyway, I've been informed that sometime this fall, they will add a new feature to
their site, allowing folks to view messages in PLAIN TEXT, with NO html formatting.
Sorry I can't post the URL to RemarQ, but I can't post a URL through my ISP's news
server, for some ridiculous reason. However, if you would like to thank RemarQ for
responding to suggestions to add a plain text option, and it might be a good idea
to do so, to encourage them not to change their minds, or forget about it, you can
