Re: Good News

This may be a little off ascii-art, but oh well.  Here's the way I see it.
A long time ago, people wrote down the Bible, right?  Well, I imagine they
didn't understand alot of it, so they just wrote it in a way that made sense
to them.  For example, they said that God created everything in 6 days.  No
one really specified how long a day was back then.  Maybe God created the
Big Bang and used evolution to create us.  I think we can't really take the
Bible word for word, because we are different than the people who wrote it.
Also, have you ever read Revelation?  That's pretty weird, and I imagine
that the author just wrote down things in a way that made the best sense to
him.  If you witnessed something that was totally beyond all comprehension,
you would probably describe it by relating it to things that you know about
today.
