I like how it kind of reads like a case modifying commercial with
those typical lines no one would actually say. Other than that it's
rather blah.

Hm. Before I read that, I have found the comic rather dull. Now I think
it's funny. I think it would be better if you put in some indication of
the comic being a commercial.

Err... But then I'd be lying. It's not a commercial, I just thought that
this particular strip ended up _sounding_ kind of like a commercial, and
that it rather amused me.

And I really don't see why commercials would be funnier. :\

I thought it was funny as it was. It mocks the entire 'I'm going to be
different, like everyone else' culture.

If it needs an indication of why it is funny then face it: it's not funny ;)

I liked it too.

The other day I see 3 kids walking into a coffee shop for open mic
night. Each one is dressed in baggy pants and a ugly t-shirt with
sandals on. But the capper was they all had dread locks that where
all between 5 and 8 inches long which meant that they all started this
at the same time. I look to one of my friends and say "You ever
notice how nonconformists all look the same?"
