I got e-mail that someone using Netscape gold was getting Javascript
errors when trying to view my ASCII-animation of a piano recital at

Many thanks to The Omega in The Omega's Javascript Help Forum at
http://transload.starblvd.net/cgi-bin/forum?name=the_omega
for revising the Javascript coding so that the animation takes much less
time to load.
Apparently, there was nothing really wrong with the coding and it was a
memory problem. But I'm so thrilled that the size of the animation has
been cut in half without removing any frames. I have since heard from
the Netscape Gold user that the animation was viewed with no problem.
I was going to copy Donovan's idea and have the pianist playing Chopin's
Minute Waltz by hitting the play button but I would need to find a midi
of Chopin's 3 second Waltz in order to have it finished by the time the
player gets up from the keyboard to bow.
NOTE: If you hit the reply button, add an "e" to the "freent";
its absense is to stop the torment of automatic mailers.

After viewing the new coding, am I to understand that it can automaticly load the text that never moves in the ascii-art animation to the value section on the bottom? That is so cool! However, what if the part that doesn't move in the animation is on the bottom of your ascii-art instead of the top part like your piano? Omega has helped me alot too! I will help you look for a copy of it or see if I have that one in my CD's.
