I was at the mall the other day and they were doing a ballet recital in the food court. The posts made by Faux_Tran are an attempt to continue what had been going on for years but had suddenly stopped. The posts put here by Tran had insured that every day this group would have a piece of ascii art be it original or not and the comments were sure to cause some activity in the group. I found myself logging into the group and finding nothing new a few to many times. So I loaded up a Faux_Tran to keep the tradition going. If Nerdboy stopped getting posted in here after years of it being so then there would be a reasonable number of people who would continue to come here expecting to find it. In that case I would make a script[0] to repost Nerdboy. The ascii would be available via the nerdboy site but should be available here since it started here. My issue with the posts you were making was that you were not holding to the tradition of including original ObA /and/ you weren't posting your own stuff. Obligatory Ascii exists for three reasons. 1) to provide new ascii art for the group 2) to keep even the most off topic of posts still on topic 3) to so that the poster can show off their talant You were not posting new. And you weren't posting your own. That is two of the three reasons oba is in place. No you retard he said that although it's not original art it still has some value because of the comments. He never compared comments to art. You sound like you've been Tranqed a lot.
