url to my (small) asciimation site

I'm not sure if dejanews sent this already, sorry if it did.

I did a couple of asciimations, the url is
www.geocities.com/Tokyo/Market/4878/animmain.htm
Any feedback would be cool.

BTW, is it possible to make a asciimation in .jar and .class files
(ie instead of coding into the html page) without using java?

I'm glad to see that my template is being put to use. I have linked to
your page from my ASCIIanimation page and look forward to seeing more of
your animations.

I have to say that I like the animation "H-bomb does Dallas"
fractionally more than the "The Perils of Fishing" (which is also
excellent)
  
Sorry, I don't know much about the jar file type of animation but I
think it requires java in order to run. I know I SAID I was going to
learn about it but I'm being constantly distracted by other mundane
things....

yes it is possible to make java (.jar and .class files) anims
instead of using javascript

javascript allows the whole to be contained in a single document

java permits the usage of data compressors (LZW) on large anims

for java anims all you should need is:
  a driver file-set (jar) : decompressor, run-time animator, etc
  configure file   (html) : configure drivers to act on your data-file
  anim-picture file (gz)  : your data-file with your animation pictures

i haven't made any of these very large 'java' anims ... but i've
looked at the way other people have
for example checkout:
 "Spot and Balloon" ASCII-animation by Bob Haschart
 that can be found on one of llizard's pages
