I came up with this book as a possible .sig. (I'm a freelance writer) Has anybody got
anything similar/better? Or should I go straight ahead and start using it? :)

Make explicit in your sig that you are a professional writer to avoid recipients thinking you add something off line in professional correspondence. Test your sig with often used proportional fonts such as Times, Arial, etc and make sure that the resulting pic can not be misunderstood in professional correspondence. In the same vein, you may want to discard the little thingie above the middle of the right page, since the simpler the pic, the more resilient it will be against non-proportional distortions. Make the book wider by a character and use "Chapter 1" to avoid abbreviations. Good luck with the pic and sig, it may provide you with a differentiator! ************* This view comes from someone who sometimes works in pretty conservative environments in which sending out something like the pic below once a year is considered neat, but otherwise considered off line. * ### Season's Greetings! ##### _|_ Be very careful with ascii art in professional correspondence!
