Any cool ascii drawing programs except for texteditors?

     If you don't mind using a program that has no overtype, Notepad is good,
if you don't want the hassle of insert mode not being allowed to be turned off,
QEdit is great. TheDraw and ACiDDRAW are great too.

Hmm. Not text editors eh? Can NT run MS-DOS programs?

TheDraw and AcidDraw are good 'screen editors' for DOS, but they allow you
to use extended characters that aren`t welcome on alt.ascii-art. Other than
that you`ll need a text editor... what`s the matter with using a Text
Editor? Some of them are very good... I personally like TextPad
www.textpad.com.

You can also have ascii art made for you using a GIF>ASCII or BMP>ASCII
converter, or FIGlet to do

and other text rendered in an ascii font. Read the FAQ list for more info.
