What font do you use?

I configged my newsreader for courier new as well, but in my experience
ascii art is best designed in dos mode (in maybe MSDOS Edit or any good
word processor for DOS). You can use notepad for ascii art quite easily but
i prefer dos editors.

Courier New can display most stuff ok i think...

I create with FixedSys in Windows notepad...
Works easily and just save as a txt file...

I can't pass up a plugging opportunity like this :)

I use Topaz New in Wordpad...I miss the old days of netting on my
Amiga when the ASCII art just looked so cool in the standard Amiga
font 'Topaz 8', and when I got a PC and saw the same ASCII's in 
FixedSys or Courier they just didn't shine so bright...so after many,
many hours of unsuccessful searching for a Topaz ttf for the PC I
got hold of a typeface designer and made my own topaz font! I called
it Topaz New and made it freely available to all from my web page :-

.and it *is* good for ASCII art. It does take a bit of getting used to
for reading normal text though.

I suggest all ASCII artists or Amiga nostalgics (sorry, it's *not* dead
yet is it ;) with a PC or who can use truetype fonts at least try out
Topaz New - oh go on - please? :)

Do you use FixedSys in your News Browser too?  If not, do you find that you must sometimes modify your art once you copy it to your News Browser.

Maybe I'm just crazy...but I find sometimes things look quite different.

I have to wonder if the reason why the media keeps throwing the word "Papparazzi"(sp?) about
is that they are trying to separate themselves from these sick-o's...even though their
constant use of this tragedy to sell advertising space is exactly the same thing as what
caused it in the first place.  STOP THE MADNESS-DON'T BUY THAT CRAP AND GET OVER YOUR FAME

You are going to think I am nuts... AOL only has one font-- Arial.
Once I copy a pic to the news browser, it's there and it looks all scrunched
up...  Just like all the NG art -- I've gotten pretty good at deciding which to
copy to view and save...  If AOL didn't have such a nice software library, I'd
be long gone...
