Dear folks at alt.ascii-art...

Hi,
I was wondering if you could assist me.
I am searching for a program that will convert gif or jpg or bmp to
ASCII format.  I'm not looking to do this for publication but just for
some personal greeting cards I'd like to make for friends.
I have been searching for some time but have come up with nothing.

I would really appreciate any help you could give in pointing me in
the right direction.

That are many such program , most are crap , but one stand above the rest.
