Hi.

- Go to Options in the tools menu
- click on the "read" sheet (or whatever that is called)
- click on Fonts... in the bottom of the page
- Choose a non-porportional font (like Courier New) in the proportional font
setting...

if you want to send messages using non-proportional fonts choose the compose
sheet instead of the read one and Font-Settings.... instead of Font...

Simon

Well, I have been forced over to reading newsgroups with Outlook. Does
anyone know how to set the font to fixed everytime you open a message
instead of one message at a time. I've looked everywhere for a default
setting and can't find one.

Help Please.

Go to "Tools => Options => Reading", click the button "Fonts" at the bottom and
there you can set the proportional font and the Fixed-width font.
I have 'em both set to "monotype.com"

I take it you can manage from here :-))
