Paul, that's a very nice violin.

This is one of the first things I drew. It's a viola but if you don't
say anything, people will probably think it's a violin.

   |||     ^
  ~ E ~    |
  ~ J ~    |
    M      |

    |      |
   (|)     |
   }-{     |
  (&| )    |#
           '

But your request was for a small violin. Here it is at seven lines (if
you remove the bow, it's six lines.) Please do not remove my initials.

         H      ^
        :|:     |
         |      |
        (|)     |
        }-{     |
ejm98  (&| )    |#
                '
And here are some violinists:

Hmm... I really should limit playing AH-64 to *one* hour rather than 4 ;)

BTW where can I find GiFscii, once again?

What sort of weird quartet has two violins, a viola and a bass???

Here's a normal string 4tet:

       ~~0 /                      Q @
        /_oo-#= \_|_/            _|/_

   0 /  | |\\    /|\     |,    _(   )     |0==
  /_oo-#=               /|\   /  /  / =#-@@|
  .| \/     _/                    \_    \/ |.

  | |\\     /|\                   /|\   //| |

And here is a close up of the instruments:
