I AM PRACTICING KICKING YOU IN THE NUTS
Is the practice of appropriating other's art for tasteless jokes
considered acceptable? I don't think it's a concern as long as
it isn't too hate filled. Others seem to object though. What's
the consensus here about this type of use? Does it just come
down to how funny you think it is?

If you don't want your art used for other things, posting it to Usenet is probably an error of judgement. Couple that with the fact that half the time Tran's take is more amusing than the original ever was, and I can't help but applaud his efforts. -- Perl Geek * you get lost, then you can drop it on the ground, wait VSCA Founder * ten minutes, and ask the backhoe operator how to get Magnet Oper * back to civilization. Yeah, I said it once and I might as well say it again.. Chill out.. It's not that big a deal. If you don't like them, just delete the postings without opening them! You won't make him go away no matter what you say and in my opinion, it just isn't worth wasting air on getting all worked up about something as insignificant as this.
