Superb!  I have struggled with some of the other 3D pics in here, and
the results have been disapointing at best (Maybe I've not got the right
kind of eyes!).  But this was easy to see, and very very 3D.  But I
don't understand how the 7 ships in the pic become 8 in 3D?  is one
hiding behind the others? ;-)

<science mode>
you see two separate sets of ships, one for each eye - focusing int he
right place overlaps the first of one with the second of the other, and
small shifts are interpreted by the brain as distance effects.

1 2 3 4 5 6 7   <-- right eye sees
       +
  1 2 3 4 5 6 7 <-- left eye sees
 |     |     |
 v     v     v
X X X X X X X X <-- brain interprets, 8 ships.

 The small differences in spacing you see if you look at the ships picture
normally is what makes the 3D effect work.
