You should not bother this and can not patch your work. The next step will appear after a few weeks/months when you will start thinking: how to hell i do this. This are stages of the Way of all artist, around the universe. In my honest opinion the power of your work are perfectly chosen lines directions (on both diagonal) which rhythm makes it alive.
