HELP!!! FIGLET!!!!!

Hello everyone!!

I have just download a copy of figlet and am not sure how you send the
output to a file so that I can mail it to people. I'm using a Unix based
machine. Any help would be much appreciated.

 figlet > output.file
   Type yer thing here lalalala
 Control-D

Or, you can feed it a text file (I think)

figlet < input.file > output.file

try 

cd /path_to_figlet

figlet -ffontname >my_text

Hit RETURN, type in what ever you like.

Do a CNTRL C to quit.

If you're running under Openwindoze, Motif, CDE, etc. you can just 

cd /path_to_figlet

figlet -ffontname

Hit RETURN, type what ever you like, then cut and paste into your mail
message or into a file you have open with the editor of choice.


Works for me under Solaris / CDE 1.0.2

  Goto Yahoo on the web, search for 'ascii art'..  Scarecrow's page has 
it, I think..
