I thought surely somebody would have already guessed, from the cartoon in
which this thing appeared. Since not, here is a slightly better version.
Surely to heaven there is some kid out there, or some older cat, that MUST
know what this is. Please let me know you're out there..... Otherwise, I
am going to assume Usenet is occupied by nothing but geeks and freaks.
Don't any of you people have a leather jacket? Doesn't anyone know
why you have to have a scattersheild on your 4-speed tranny to race on
the strip? Ever hear of rock and roll?

Surely someone can tell what THAT is? If you can at least identify the bottom
one, then let me know. And, if you can identify the bottom one then you're almost
there, towards getting the top one. If you don't know, then it should take little
enough research to find out.

I've allus wanted a GT350H. Hard to believe they actually rented out some of those, isn't it? Generally though, I'd rather ride with more cubes under the hood. There's no substitute for cubic inches, after all. Well, since someone gave me the answer, I won't fret over it anymore. JRO

The cubic inch wars of the late 60s. The GT, GTO, GTX, SS, R/T, Roadrunner and more that I can not remember. The 389, 390, 396, 426 Hemi, 427, 429 and the 440ci engines. Two 4-barrels, three 2-barrels, drag pipes, Hurst, Cherry Bomb mufflers, 3/4 or full race cams and positraction. When you were able to lay rubber hitting 4th gear, you knew you owned the road! Being in bed on summer nights with the window open and hearing the sound of 2 cars out on a country road going head to head. Hearing every powershift! All this, and gas at 15 cents a gallon.
