Guess These Wheels

I thought surely somebody would have already guessed, from the cartoon in
which this thing appeared. Since not, here is a slightly better version.
Surely to heaven there is some kid out there, or some older cat, that MUST
know what this is. Please let me know you're out there..... Otherwise, I
am going to assume Usenet is occupied by nothing but geeks and freaks.
Don't any of you people have a leather jacket? Doesn't anyone know
why you have to have a scattersheild on your 4-speed tranny to race on
the strip? Ever hear of rock and roll?
