Cut and paste problem

Cut and paste problem

The test lines you sent, did they have spaces in them? I'm just
wondering if somehow her computer might be removing extra spaces when she
cuts and pastes, the same way extra spaces are removed in html files when
you don't use the <PRE> tag. I don't know how this could happen (though
if it's a Microsoft program, it could be some sort of stupid "intelligent"
feature that got turned on and thinks it's smart enough to know what's
right), but that's about all I can think of if it's not the font, unless
for some reason the cut&paste wasn't picking up the carriage returns.
	Anyone else have any ideas?

Can anyone help me with this query I had from someone?

I gave her the font explanation, with the four lines to line up to see if
she had the right font, but I got this back:

> Thanks for your quick response to my letter. I looked at the 4 lines

Can anybody else think of a reason why it isn't working?
Her address is jba...@hotmail.com if you need to ask her for more info. I
really dont' have a clue why the art is coming out skewed!!

It almost sounds like she is cutting/pasting from her
reader (which is in the correct font) to a text editor
which is NOT in the correct font...
Just my guess...

Nope. :/ It waaas just the regular
wwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww|
iiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii|
thing.............. I've mailed her with what Joan said about the font
probably being wrong in whatever she's trying to paste the art into but
had no reply yet.

I don't know how puter literate she is, so it could be anything. ;-) But
I'm pretty sure it's not to do with spaces. It's more likely to still be
a font problem. Or it could be some weird blip in her software. Hope she
mails me back, because if the problem is something other than a font, I
can add the relevant new info to the website. :)

Thanks for trying though.:)
