Classic NB weirdness. After making this one, I decided that it was as
good a place as any to just bail out of the story arc. I think I'll do
that from now on. Who needs closure, anyway?

> 226
> ---

This strip is really just a precursor to the next strip. I needed to
build up to an idea I got. In this particular comic, that was pretty
easy. New invention, wham bam thank you Bob. (That's my uncle.) The
book is not LotR. It's some Terry Pratchett book, or something.

> 227
> ---

That's it? That's the idea I based a whole story arc on? Boy, does
this suck or what? Actually, it doesn't. Not quite, anyway. There's
some new art in here. I had fun drawing the dwarf and the troll.

> 228
> ---

"None taken." That's funny. I can't understand why I didn't use that
as a punchline. Maybe because there is no pun, so how could he have
intended one? Ahh, whatever.

> 229
> ---

I like this. The troll looks menacing, and the joke is OK.

> 230
> ---

A lot of action here. Can you tell that trolls and dwarves think
elves are gay? Can you also tell that I didn't stick to the non-
closure idea? Plenty of closure here, even if it IS deus ex machina.

They're great, as usual, but would you mind putting the numbers after the
arc? This way I read your final comment before I read the arc itself and I
don't think that's the way it's supposed to happen ;)

As I said an arcive other than deja. deja == groups.google
I don't want to thrash through hundreds of posts _about_ NB to find

How do you mean, "after the arc"? I posted the comments in a separate post,
15 minutes after I posted the actual strips. In any case, the post with the
comments is called "Re: Nerd Boy blah blah"... Next time, I'll just put
the comments in the same post, but after all the last strips. Like pasting
together the two posts I sent now.

Apparently I wasn't clear enough: now you have it like this:

Comment nr
---

Comic.

Where 222 is the comment you're referring to. It used to be like this:

Comic

---
Comment

Could you make it like this:

Comic

---
Comment nr

It would keep the comments in a seperate posts, but it would make somewht
more sense (imho)

Oh, now I get it. When I introduced the numbers, I just let the
layout resemble the website. On nerdboy.n3.net, I have:
---
Episode X (Month Day Year)

[Comic]
---

I just think it's more natural to have the number of the episode
first; it's like a heading.

Did you really read the comment for 222 before reading the actual
strip? Why? If you expected the format you're suggesting, didn't
you notice that there was nothing at all before the "comment nr",
as you call it? What did you expect to find in the comment?

Do you mean "feel" as in "like" as in "Hey yo, I'm feelin' what you're
