I'm looking for some info and tools into real time ascii video processing... the goal would be to take some sort of image stream and convert it into ascii files... i know there are alot of different approaches to this... but i'm just looking for some background info.. so far, all i have to go on is the AAlib for linux... any help would be appreciated. thanks, Manu

I haven't > tried it, but found it a while ago. If you want to play videos with AAlib, you can use mplayer : http://www.MPlayerHQ.hu It can play divx, mpeg, wmv, etc... In my opinion it's the best video player avaible. -- BokLM
