Are there any photography nuts out here??
I'd like to find an ascii camera I can use for
my signature. Possibly even a 3-D camera.
I would make one myself, but I can't seem to
get it right. My expertise with ascii is limited to
about letters /    / \
           /  /\  /    /    \
          /  /   /    /     /
         /______/     /
          \          \   /
            ~~~~~
argh.. something like that anyhows..
Thanks in advance.. Keep up the good work!~~!!!!!
Okay, it looks a little weird. But it's tiny, so dat's natural.
Or, use a digital camera, and do neat things on the computer...
Like display them for LCD shutter glasses....
Or put the two images in the red/blue and/or red/green chanels of an
image, for an anaglyph...  (Those pictures that need the 3D glasses,
with different color plastic on each eye, for those who don't know.)
Or feed them into a 3D stereo corelation algorithem, and create a
disparity map of the images, which can be used for 3D modeling,
creating a SIS/SIRDS of the image,....
Well, I'l finish it with a SIS:
                __                __
          _____|_|\_____    _____/_/\_____
         |____|[]\|____|| /____/[]\/____/ |
         |  (#)| (#)|  || | (#)/ (#)/   | |
RG/ejm   |_____________|| |_____________|/
Ok, ok, it really sucks, no need to tell me....   :-)
(View the above like one of those "Magic Eye" pictures.)
See ya, Randy.
This simplistic camera is perhaps one line too large for a sig (at 6
lines):
            __
        __ /_/\___
       /__/[]\/__/|o-_
      |    _     ||   -_
And this is supposed to be one of those old fashioned 19th century kind
but I couldn't get the hood to work.
Isn't it interesting?  Our perceptions and understandings of what people
are asking are so different.  I would have sworn the original poster was
asking for a three dimensional image of a camera - not a camera that takes
three dimensional images.
  Well, maybe it's not new anymore, but I have about 10k other
  programs I'm working on, and none of them are finished yet...
  (Ultrasonic transducer/reciver/ranging simulator, Feature-based
  stereo corelation of two images to disparity map, java parallel
  proccessing fractal computing network, Javascript animator, Java
  editor, an editor for Java/C/C++/Pascal/etc, JDK enhancement
  package adding drap n drop and other capabilites to JDK1.1.x,
  form flame generator, eh eh eh eh, too much work....  :-)
Actually, I will bet that VK though that that too, and then decided
to post something funny instead.....    :-)
Actually my first thought was "3D camera" as in a camera that takes 3D
images, but I think this may have something to do with old dreams of
owning one... Then I realised that that was probably not what the
original poster was asking for but when llizard posted her camera I just
_had_to_...
And look what popped up in another newsgroup today:
I'm working on some stereo image to disparity map software, and
currently I can only get test images of the internet, but I hope
to be getting a simple 3D electronic camera soon, so I can take 3D
images.....
<sigh> too much time, too little money.....
