scanners for cheap?

alt.ascii-art · 5 messages · 16 Apr 1999 - 18 Apr 1999
Spring has sparked an entrepeneurial urge and buddy a mine suggested we
invest in a hand held scanner to scan all those hard to reach places, a
little silkscreening that sort of thing. Well he said ubid.com was worth
a look and i was stunned at how low in price hand held scanners are goin
for these days. Like sssupper suuper low. i've givenn it the once overr
and can't catch any sketchy clawses.
What gives?
Maybe i'm just like my mother shhe's never satisfied but anyone know the
lowwdown w/ the Kye Int'l Corp Easy Scann Color Deluxe-3200 dpi-ISA
Interface?

Does the fact that I went to a local community college for a fraction of
a Harvard education detract from my superlative multimedia prowess? Does
my partner's lack of charm school breeding make her any less lovely? I
think not. No. No. Shall we dismiss with all the "more is better" price
tag embracing and gracefully embrace a ubid.bargain with dignity. Thank
You. ---Willow

Hey, dude, you should try reading a newsgroup BEFORE you post to it. Comp.sys.handhelds is devoted to serious discussion of handheld PC's, and to a lesser extent, their close relatives like the Palm-size PC's and the PalmPilots. Where the hell did you get this idea that it just might have something to do with handheld scanners?
But then, perhaps I shouldn't be surprised. Your simple message is riddled with at least 10 spelling errors, and indicates a poor understanding of apostrophes, commas, word order, noun tense, sentence structure, capitalization, and current idiom, just to begin with. For example, the phrase is, "a buddy of mine," and "handheld" is always one word.
I hope this great newsgroup isn't overrun with idiots like this one in the future, or soon comp.sys.handhelds will be as pathetic as soc.culture.usa.

It is, one just posted an answer and tried to tell us how educated and intelligent he was!

Why don't you just tell us what you really think.
