Bedpans with flowers or designs on them are rather rare although it
is not uncommon on Gozundas which are usually deeper thus leaving
more room for the design.

There is however nothing to stop you from hand painting your bedpans
or getting someone to paint them for you with flowers or border
designs.

If you are very sensitive and particular about where and what you
sit on, insisting on using only your bedpan and absolutely no one
else's, then you could have your name or initials painted on your pan.

For home use, if you are ill and confined to bed, and therefore
enforced to sit on the pan whilst remaining in bed, it probably
does not really matter if your bedpan has a design on it or not.

However, if you are allowed out of bed, a gozunda or pisspot kept
under the bed would be nicer and much easier to get on and off than
a bedpan. I personally like the design on the one below:

                   ______________________
                  (______________________)
                (~| |~)

BTW the stainless steel bedpans make one hell of a crash and clatter
when a nurse drops a load of them on to the floor of the hospital
ward or corridor. Talk about "dropping a clanger" ?

It was probably just an example of initials on a bedpan, Llizard.

Apologies. I used a similar style to my normal way of attributing unnamed
pictures when putting your initials on a bedpan which had been offered to
you by "Nursie"...at least I thought it was a bedpan because I suggested
that you should sit on it when you asked Nursie what you should do with the
article.

Perhaps the following would have been a better way of giving you your very
own initialled bedpan?

    ___ _______________
   ( )__( + + + EJM + )

BTW where is "Nursie"? She has not been around to give Pete his regular
injections which seem badly needed. *8-)

Certainly, if I needed a bedpan. But I'm not so old yet (or young, for
that matter) that I require such an item.

Thanks anyway.

I wonder who bit Marcel Duchamp when he exposed a pisspot
(one of those you can see in a public urinal)
signed "R.Mutt" somewhere in 1917.
It called it "Foutain".

I think it was Muttstein who bit Marcel Duchamp.
