JavE flyboy.jmov

ok, I have edited it to extend the time most of the text boxes 
are on the screen, plus fiddled with color. Let me know what 
you think.

Markus, will we be able to color individual characters? That
would have been nice in this jmov anyway.

I might play with this more later removing all text so it can 
be sped up.

The dialog still is to fast for me :-( But the movie is cool - I like
the credits most :-) - Thanks!

And in this JMOV I see that the player needs an additional feature: Some
indicator saying "playing" or so...

The answer is no, and I have done this decision a long time ago: 
  I will not add color to JavE. I have played around with individual
colored character when I was working on the image2ascii converter. At
the first sight the result was cool, but then again no. It is the same
thing as with black/white and color photography: The effect on a
spectator of a color picture comes more from the color than from the
shape, shades, etc. It is easy to impress people with colorful images
but it is much more art with black and white. This is my personal
opinion. Also I should add that I did a lot of black/white photography
in former years.
So I will not add color to JavE - but as the jmov player is open source
anyone can try to enhancing it by adding a color option.

Furthermore I still have not finished the work on the JMOV editor in
JavE so I better concentrate on that (and other things). 

One more thing about colors: By not supporting colors in JavE there is
an empty space where any other software developer can still do a lot of
interesting things.
Maybe I already have repelled (or demotivated) others with the overkill
of features in JavE. Actually I don't like such monopolistic software
and so I want to restrict myself (although it is not easy ;-)). As long
as I make the rules for what new features will be added, there never
will be color in JavE.

I have thought to do it without the dialog, maybe I will as it gets 
too clunky to have the delay between frames increased, and I didnt
leave myself any room to have the dialog show in two or more frames
per-text balloon. This jmov has already taken many hours to make for
the few moments it runs and so i wont do much more to it. If ever I 
make another, possibly longer one, I will have a better idea what to 
do with dialog.

I could add "this movie will autostart" to the webpage too. With a note
to netscape users that they may need to hit reload to get it running.
