Hi, I just wanted to remind you of the competition. Up to now only five images have been submitted. - But they are quite interesting and a great source for a fascinating competition. Have a look at them at: http://www.jave.de/image2ascii/competition2001/stage1.html And take part by submitting your own images - I want to receive hundreds of them :-) Markus
Hi, About the competition: Up to now there have been 8 images submitted as source images for the conversion. I will stop the stage of submission in 48 hours. So it's the last chance now for submitting images: http://www.jave.de/image2ascii/competition2001/stage1.html As there are not that many submissions, I think we can make the next stage quite short: Stage 2 was intended to chose the best images from stage 1 - but as there are only a few submissions I think we should not remove any. Hi,
I have stopped stage 1 for the competition. There are now 8 images as
source candidates.
As it does not seem to make sense to sort out any of them, stage 2
(voting for source candidates) is simplified:
I will start stage 3 (the competition itself) as soon as there are two
result sizes for each submitted image. Up to now there are missing nine
of them. Please have a look at
http://www.jave.de/image2ascii/competition2001/stage1.html
and write your suggestion for missing sizes along with the image id to
sta...@jave.de
