I'm looking for a program or plugin that will allow me to scan pages of text (such as from a book) into ASCII that I can manipulate in a text editor. My scanning software is Visioneer, my platform Win98. Any suggestions?
hi, my suggestion is TextBridge - http://www.textbridge.com/products/tbpmill/ , its the best program; but there is not a demo version to download. a other program is Readiris Pro 6 - http://www.irislink.com/Comm/Demo/Readiris/uk.html . i dont know how good it will work, but the url is the link to the download page of a 30 days trail version. peaz, subfusc pixel.dreiundsiebzig.de
