Someone posted a picture of A tick, but I would like one of THE TICK,
cause there is always room for one more arthropod on the network.

The difference is: a tick is a little bug thing, The Tick is a superhero who wear a blue body suit and has a sidekick named Arthur (he's a moth that gets mistaken for a bunny). Die Fliedermaus, which I guess means The Field Mouse, is another superhero character from the same television show as The Tick and Arthur (the show is called The Tick). Yes, Die Fleidermaus is a big mouse with a cape who tries to pick up girls all the time. "Hey sweetheart, got anything in that poodle gun for me?" Incidentally, I'd love to see some The Tick and Die Fliedermaus asciis, too. =) go in zen -- I want to hang from the old creepy. (DA)

The character in the television show "The Tick" is in fact named Die Fliedermaus, and I have seen that spelling on-air (perhaps Americans can't spell in German?). I assume it is supposed to translate to field mouse or flying mouse or something of the like, because the character Die Fleidermaus is a superhero who dresses in a mouse costume with a cape (and does indeed [sorta] fly). -- I want to hang from the old creepy. Besides the fact that bats don't look like what Die Fleidermaus (definite sp, I assume) dresses up as, there have been references in the television show to him being a mouse. Not a bat. Maybe they've been really subtle jokes I haven't been getting, but I assume when they say he's a mouse, they mean he's a mouse. And I've been a Tick freak since the premiere episode, all the way through the latest episode, "The Tick vs. Prehistory". -- I want to hang from the old creepy. (DA)
