I just did these dolls: Large, maybe. But missing it's legs, no. First of all, it does not really miss it's legs. It never really apprecitated it's legs anyway, being an inanimate object, and unable to miss anything. Plus, it was intended to only be half the doll. That would be like saying that this dragon below is missing it's body. ,----..___ ,.-''````''-. ,'` _,..>-'` `. -ART BY- / `. -ZEUS- / .-"""-. '. (can't remember who said that, but it was very well said.) And this, as with any artwork, is all meaning. Feet need not be drawn if it is less asthetically pleasing to the artist. Besides, the drawing needs to end somewhere, and it does not matter where, as long as it looks good. :) Ok, and this was also a good excuse to post a couple of my newest pics. :) You know, I like the art to be large. Small is so imperfect, and leaves far to much to the imagination in my opinion. As long as it fits on one screen, it is perfectly sized. (once you have to go to several screens, or have to switch to a 4 point font to see it all, it is a bit extreme, but most of those with only a few exceptions are just machine done anyway, so no real credit is needed for the drawing unless you were to credit the computer) ___ > _/ | ,^%--- > |_____| __ > \ Not that I condone this kind of thing! > --- == -- > > [_____] __>,^ llizard aka ejm cq5...@freenet.toronto.on.ca > ejm97 | | //| | http://www.geocities.com/SoHo/Studios/9334/ I do condone this kind of thing! :P / http://www.geocities.com/athens/parthenon/9573 ______ ____ _ _ ____ /```````/_____ _________ (__ / | __| | | | | / ___\ /______ /______\ __,--^` / /_ | _| | |_| | |___ \ ` /____ ___\ /_____) |____| \_____/ \____/ /_..-----` I concur..... I would think that only half a Voodoo doll would be inadequate. Granted, my only knowledge of Voodoo dolls comes from watching suspense movies set in New Orleans during Mardi-Gras (and let me hasten to add that I really don't feel the need to be educated about Voodoo), but it seems to me that a complete Voodoo doll is required. What happens if a person wants to start tormenting the victim on his feet? Your Voodoo doll makes it impossible to stick pins there. You are correct. While reading your post, I realized it would be impossible
to not only stick pins in one's feet, but impossible to do the most
sinister of all tortures.. The tickle torture. To use a Voodoo doll to
make someone be tickled uncontrolably would most assuradly be a fate worse
than death. And I left out this means of torture. I do not deserve to live.
Please kick my butt. I want you to.

However, I find that larger pictures are relatively easier to draw than smaller ones. (Though the larger pictures can take a long time to do!) It takes more imagination and talent to make a sig sized picture recognisable, whereas the larger the picture the easier it is to control where the lines go. As you get larger, you have less conflicts where characters are competing for space. I have a lot more admiration for the smaller works of llizard and the like and little to none for ummmm shall we say Lester5374 for example. But don't get me wrong, you do have some fine work Zeus (If large). I just prefer the smaller pictures.
