I use the news reader in Netscape 3 (unix version). It works just fine
(and it doesn't "get in the way", I only read news when I'm at school,
and then I usually have Netscape open anyway...). I do NOT use the one
in Netscape 4 however (it does Evil Things to my mail files, confuses my
email program to the point that it refuses to function and causes nasty
Over Quota problems. I was quite happy when a friend told me how to fix
it so that I only get an error message if I accidentally click on an
email link!). Will I use the new Mozilla's news program? Maybe, if it's
good (sooner or later I will have to "move forward" and get something
new, that's just the way the world works, occasionally you have to get
new stuff...).

You can skip the quotation marks around the word "programmer" in that
sentence.
