As someone who has spent a lot of time living in some really bad
"inner-city urban areas" (I prefer the term  ghetto) I can tell you
that there are plenty of SUV's there.  These people may have no job,
no hope and no future but they have invested heavily in their cars.

I used the Bulls reference because it, and sporting events like it,
are the most common cause of car burnings in the States.  While we may
have an occasional Rodney King type event ever decade or so we have
riots resulting from B-Ball all the time.
