It has been said that you can't distingwish a reasonably advanced science from magic. Well it is also true that as soon as you get enough people into a group that factions will start to exist in it. It is one thing to non-homophobic. It is another thing to be proud of your pre-oprative transsexual lesbian son. There will always be sub groups. It is the way of the world. And the question was "why don't demosceners post here?". Not "we hate those guys because ...". The first one is curiosity. The second one is what you are complaing about. I think you are a touch off base. The only group I am in is alt.ascii-art. Thats enough for me. It gives me a place to post my art. I don't care what other people post as long as it is ASCII art and not some other kind of art. I do 3d ascii, butterfly ascii, comic ascii and of course ASScii. > This was a friendly group, reading it now it sounds like a stuck up > bunch of ASCII snobs. This isn't a friendly group? This is one of the friendlest newsgroups I have ever seen. The only time any one insults someone else is in jest and that is usually limited to Kirra (sp?) and Tran. > >>Please don't top post. Let me second that. Don't top post. Its bad. http://asciipr0n.com/fp/linux/top-posting.txt > Please don't bottom post, it's so fricking annoying. If I want to read > the old stuff I can scroll down for it. Why do you think blogs are set > up to have the newest post first, not last. Because people are to lazy to learn. A: Because it upsets the natural flow of reading.
