This is pretty easy, just put the graphic in a <pre> block like this:

<pre>
<image "hi.gif" alt ="

For better examples, check "http://www.yak.net:80/Tohu-Bohu/".  The
title is lame ascii lettering.  There's a better example on the
"album" link: "http://www.yak.net:80/Tohu-Bohu/bwalbum.html".
