Yes.  But DON'T DO THIS IN THE TEXT ALTS.

This won't work with lynx on text alt's.  I was about to post this same 
response, but then I realized that lynx just puts the text up real fast 
without interpreting it... the &gt &amp &lt just appear as &gt &amp &lt
etc.

Eh?  It works fine for me.  I've been developing a man page server that
does it just fine, and I almost always test it with lynx.
