Editors: PC-Write, version 2.5 word processor, 1985. PC-Write Lite, version 1.01, 1990. ( Multi-featured word processors/text editors with plenty of controls, boxing, cut and paste, linewrap control etc. ) Fonts: Both versions have Non-proportional fonts only. Mode: Scroll Lock Key toggles between Insert and Overtype modes so I use both as desired. Programs Used: Only the word processors. I never had any worthwhile results with the GIF to ASCII convertors. Hardware: Until 1997, PC/XT 256k RAM with no graphics...so you _have_ to use Ascii Art. :-) Note: This year I got an updated machine wih Word for Windows 2.0 but I don't use it for Ascii Art work because I would have to use Fixedsys or Courier fonts. I would rather choose Notepad or the MS-DOS Editor if I really lacked alternatives, but I prefer to still use the oldies, PC-Write and PC-Write Lite, with their Non-proportional default fonts and lots of other useful features. Bye,
