Denmark:  1909  (roughly 1.5 times as many)

Death by smoking: per 1000 inhabitants in 1995
Sweden:  males 4.8 females 2.3
Denmark: males 7.3 females 5.6

All swedes I know, when having been to Denmark, say
something about 'how much they smoke'..
